Who Are We?

If you know that life is precious, then another's (even if it is an animal) is also precious. -Hwang Lee

The Core of M.A.K

M.A.K. offers a wide range of activities, including Summer Camps, Day Camps, Park Days, Movie Nights, Summer Fun Weeks, Community Service events, Stay-Cations, Picnics, Banquets, and more. There are events designed for kids, teens, adults, and families, featuring Auburn's largest Easter Egg Hunt, ever-growing Halloween Parties, graduations, seminars, and demonstrations. Throughout all these events, the essence of who and what M.A.K. represents is clearly visible and experienced.

Open Door Policy

M.A.K. is an open school featuring a raised viewing area where family and friends can observe classes and occasionally join in. While many martial arts schools see parents, families, and friends as distractions, M.A.K. views them as essential to a student’s experience, whether they're adults or children. So, if you have family members interested in watching or participating, feel free to come down!

Changing the World One Student at a Time

We are a Black Belt School!
We are motivated.
We are dedicated.
We’re on a quest to be our best.

The Ranking System

In martial arts, students demonstrate their development through the color of their belts. Each hue and stripe on a karate belt represents a step toward achieving a Black Belt or an advanced black belt degree, applicable to both kids and adults. The criteria for each belt vary based on the program, age, style, and individual student. We advise non-students against comparing one student’s performance to another’s. MAK sets expectations tailored for each student, with the shared objective being to meet the black belt requirements.
